From NASCAR to New Islands, The Crew Motorfest Is Going All-In for Year 3 on PS5 1

Ubisoft has revealed the future of The Crew Motorfest, and frankly it’s impressive how much content the company’s got coming up.

The Ivory Tower racer obviously now finds itself in a head-to-head race with Forza Horizon 5 on the PS5, but it seems to be responding to the challenge well.

Year 3 will get underway from 5th November with a new Street Riders playlist, which will embrace underground car culture as you go head-to-head in a series of free races with no set routes.

You’ll need to utilise the environment to find shortcuts and outpace your rivals.

As with all of the content in The Crew Motorfest, this event has its own look and feel, with graffiti-decorated speedometers in the corner of the screen and flares directing you where to go.

This season will also come with a bunch of BMW-themed content, exploring the vehicular brand’s legacy. There’ll also be new rims for further car customisation, some of which are based upon real-world manufacturers.

But beyond that in March, the developer is also adding a circuit builder named Track Forge, a licensed NASCAR collaboration, and remote-controlled cars.

The piece de resistance is a fresh playground island, which looks built for tricks and showcasing your very best driving skills.

All of this content will be available for free as part of the game’s seasonal update sequences, but there’s also an optional Year 3 Pass to buy, featuring 21 additional cars. These will slowly rollout throughout the rest of the year, with the first four vehicles claimable right now.

Those of you who already own the Year 1 Pass or Year 2 Pass will get an additional bonus in the form of the Cadillac CIEL Concept 2011, which is neat.

So, another absolute mammoth update for The Crew Motorfest, then.

Honestly, for as much criticism as Ubisoft gets, you could never question its post-release support. It almost always keeps its games vibrant and alive, and there’s more than enough incentive here to return to Hawaii.
